Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join and support the expansion of our growing Go-to-Market (GTM) team. You should be a highly motivated self-starter who has a natural curiosity to learn and is results-driven.
As an SDR, you will be critical in driving Openprise’s growth by generating qualified opportunities and building a robust sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will leverage outbound and inbound strategies while collaborating closely with Account Executives and the Marketing team to identify target accounts, craft personalized outreach strategies, and build meaningful relationships with prospects. Key Responsibilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage and influence decision-makers.
- Schedule discovery meetings for sales executives to further the sales process.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for opportunity and lead generation through inbound and outbound efforts.
- Knowledge of lead generation techniques, cold calling, and account-based sales strategies.
- Develop and execute territory plans, prioritize outreach, and penetrate targeted accounts at all levels.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position Openprise and identify new business opportunities.
- Willingness to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic sales landscape with a problem-solving attitude.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in SaaS sales, business development, or a related sales development role with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Growth Mindset, extreme curiosity in everything you do, and a proven ability to multitask effectively.
- You exhibit creativity and tenacity in approaching your outbound prospecting (calls, emails, LinkedIn, video, social) efforts.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- You view challenges as learning opportunities, not failures.
- Experience with Salesforce, Outreach (equivalent sales enablement tool), Gong, LinkedIn & LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and/or other key sales development tool stack.
Preferred Skills:
- Generate new business opportunities through strategic outbound calling, emailing, and social engagement.
- Qualify incoming leads to ensure alignment with our ideal customer profile.
- Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure engagement and progress toward sales goals.
- Collaborate with marketing to refine lead generation strategies and participate in events to increase brand awareness.
