Sr. Manager, Demand Generation

We’re seeking a hands-on Senior Manager, Demand Generation, to join our team and drive measurable results. As a player-coach, you’ll lead a small but dynamic team while rolling up your sleeves to design, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns. Collaborating closely with sales, marketing, and RevOps teams, you’ll ensure alignment on strategies that drive pipeline growth and revenue. You’ll also have the support of the RevOps team to streamline reporting and analytics, enabling you to focus on impactful decision-making. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. THE POSITION IS BASED IN SAN MATEO, CA. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO OUR OFFICE AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Campaign Strategy & Execution:
- Design, launch, and optimize targeted, multi-step/channel marketing campaigns across email, paid media, SEO, events, ABM, and more
- Regularly monitor and report on campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to maximize ROI
Marketing Workflow & Automation:
- Build and implement marketing workflows, nurture programs, and integrated campaigns aligned with business goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth execution and accurate measurement of all initiatives
Collaboration & Alignment:
- Partner with executives, sales teams, and marketing colleagues to develop cohesive demand generation strategies that directly impact pipeline and revenue
- Work closely with the RevOps team to ensure streamlined reporting, actionable insights, and a well-maintained marketing tech stack
Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a small, high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment
- Set clear goals, track progress, and ensure alignment with company objectives
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Leverage insights and analytics supported by the RevOps team to analyze campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and inform future strategies.
- Maintain a focus on key metrics such as lead generation, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution to meet company goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, digital marketing, or related roles, with a track record of driving measurable results
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute multi-channel campaigns across email, paid media, SEO, events, and ABM
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data, generating insights, and improving marketing performance metrics
- Experience leading and mentoring a small team while managing individual execution responsibilities
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and RevOps teams to achieve shared goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey strategies, results, and recommendations
- Familiarity with scaling marketing efforts at a startup or high-growth company is a plus
